Who We Are



Sussex Fire Department is the second oldest fire department in Sussex County, NJ. The department was organized in 1896 as The Wallkill Hose Company and Protection Hook and Ladder when Sussex Borough was known as Deckertown.



Sussex Fire Department provides fire and emergency services to Sussex Borough and mutual aid to surrounding communities when called upon to do so.

Sussex Fire Department
