Sussex Fire Department is the second oldest fire department in Sussex County, NJ. The department was organized in 1896 when Sussex Boro was known as Deckertown.
Sussex Fire Department provides fire and emergency services to Sussex Boro and mutual aid to surrounding communities when called upon to do so.
